Server and WordPress installation Guides

The first thing you must navigate to Vultr VPS hosting and signup or login to deploy a new VPS

Deploy a Ubuntu VPS hosting on Vultr, After the server did, get the server access login information then open the console windows on Browers to install Cloudron.

Open a Console Window to install Cloudron to Vultr VPS server

Here is the code command to install Cloudron

sudo apt-get update

Run continue this code

wget https://cloudron.io/cloudron-setup

Run continue this code

chmod +x ./cloudron-setup

Run continue this code

./cloudron-setup --provider vultr

if you would like to install Cloudron on other VPS providers, you can change vultr to other names. Here is the list of name: azure|cloudscale|digitalocean|ec2|exoscale|hetzner|linode|netcup|ovh|rosehosting|scaleway|vultr|generic

Please select Yes at this step to let the installation process finish.

Now access your Server IP address to add the domain name to access your dashboard Backend manager.

Add your domain name here and select your domain name provider then give it credential credit API token of domain name provider or Cloudflare API to let the Cloudron auto-config DNS record automatically for you. You don’t need to change DNS record the API you have given is completely right. Otherwise, you don’t want to give the API you can choose Wildcard option to config all the DNS records by yourself.

Give the information to create a new account.

After the installation process completed, access to your dashboard to install the application.

Select WordPress and hit the setup button. There are two versions of WordPress that are Managed and unmanaged. Select the right version to install. I select the managed version rather than the unmanaged version.

The WordPress login information login is the Username and password of your login access to the dashboard admin panel or additional user’s login password.

If you can not access to WordPress function.php template file, you can try with Code Snippets WordPress plugin. to add the codes above to function.php

Here is the path WordPress installation path/directory in your VPS. access root then go to the directory like below

/home/yellowtent/appsdata/<appId>/data/
