Step 1: Search for a domain name

Visit Godaddy’s website and use the search bar to find a domain name you like. Make sure it’s unused and doesn’t have any existing trademarks.

Step 2: Add to cart

You need to click the “Add to Cart” button to add your domain name to your cart. Access your cart and go to the checkout page.

  • Click add to cart

Step 3: Create an account

If you don’t have a Godaddy account, you need to create one. Provide your email address and create a password.

  • Create an account to manage.

Step 4: Select a Payment Method

Once you’ve added your domain to your cart and created an account, you can proceed to checkout. You can pay for your domain with PayPal, Mastercard, or other payment methods.

  • Make a Payment

Step 5: Confirm

Once your payment has been made at the checkout page of Godaddy.com, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. You can also access your domain name in your Godaddy account.

Step 6: Complete DNS settings:

You need to config your DNS settings for your domain name was completed purchase at Godaddy.com by accessing Godaddy’s dashboard at the DNS setting area and add:

  • IP address of your website, web hosting to A Record.
  • CNAME record into the CNAME section.

At this step, it is important to make your website go live to work and make sure you make it correct.

Once everything goes into place, you can go to your website’s next step, creating content.
